Welcome to Northwest Culinary Institute
Founded in 2004, Northwest Culinary Institute seeks to be the premier culinary school in the country. Our approach to culinary education is unique to other culinary schools. Our instructors are certified executive chefs, many of whom have won prestigious awards such as chef of the year. Additionally, students spend most of every day in the kitchen perfecting their craft.
NCI is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. The Accrediting Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency under the provisions of Chapter 33, Title 38, U.S. Code and subsequent legislation.
Northwest Culinary Institute: An immersive approach to culinary education
Northwest Culinary Institute is not like other culinary schools! We have a strategic method to ensure that students are getting the most out of our program. Our immersive approach means students and instructors focus exclusively on the theory, practice, and real-world implementation needed to master advanced culinary techniques and skills. With small class sizes, our school features hands-on learning while in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our instructors are award-winning chefs with years of experience in many different areas of the field. These instructors offer students the opportunity to experiment and explore their culinary endeavors. Because the class sizes are small, instructors are open to a sufficient amount of one-on-one time and training. This combination of small classes, a welcoming environment, and seasoned instructors allow students to comfortably learn how to become a professional in culinary arts.
Northwest Culinary Institute is located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest Wine Country. Students learn about several aspects of beverage management, including wine and food pairing.
